Default Differnce on Prelude?

can someone tell me all the differnce between a regular 98+ prelude and a 98+ prelude type sh. thanks.

i think its just ATTS and the paint (the sides and rear are painted)..also i belive 98 was the year they started the optional oem kit for the sh..(someone correct me if im wrong). thats all i can think of.

Incorrect.

97-01 Prelude Type SH has

leather shift ****
Color matched side skirts, rear lip and wing is standard.
ATTS (Active Torque Transfer System) sides power to inside wheel when cornering hard.
only comes in manual trans
5 spoke wheels
and firmer shocks, and anti-roll bars.

99+ preludes

black houseing headlights
differnt front gril
comes in differnt paint colors.

So which one is the preferred pick? I hear around that its harder to find aftermarket parts for the SH, or is that just people talking with no experience?

Get a base model if you plan on doing all the basic mods like intake/header/exhaust/suspension.

if you can find a base with low miles thats your best bet.

Jesus Christ..... *shakes head*

Go find and drive one of each. A base and an SH. I can see that describing anything with words isn't going to work that well with some of you.

Besides, modifying the SH and the base takes about the same route if you're going to keep it simple. Air, fuel, and spark mods are all the same.
