Difference between projector headlights and hid's??
okay, i'm no expert here (in fact i'm probably wrong), but i might know:
"projectors" themselves arent headlights, they're lenses. I think they focus the beam. You can use HIDs in combination w/ projectors, or you can use typical halogens w/ them.
HIDs are simply High Intensity Discharge lighting systems you'd see on a high end car. They come in different color/temperature ratings, typically i think 4300k, 5000k, 6000k, 8000k, 10000k, 12000k, and 14000k. I was actually wondering myself what the difference was, so if anyone could clarify and tell me what i'm wrong about, i'd appreciate it.
Also, does the s2000 use the 8000k variant? I think the s2k HIDs are my favorite cause they're the bluest ones at an angle I've seen. Anybody seen any bluer ones or know what the s2k uses?

projector head lights use halogen bulbs. HID is its own lighting system. its a replacement for halogen bulbs... i believe it stands for High Intensity Displacement.
neither could be stolen more frequently... HID systems are usually incorporated with a projector headlight, but it can also be done in a normal housing.

High Intensity Discharge
You can use HID's and projectors at the same time..
projectors dont really focus(aftermarket atleast), they actually spread out the light, and provide a pretty shitty light spread actually lol
OEM HID's utilize a type of projector usually..
