I have a 93 Lude and I am a little confused, that what the hell is the difference between the BB1 and the BB4? To me they are the same but I am not sure. Can any one help me find the differences, also how can you tell if it’s a BB1 or a BB4????

 

check your vin #

 

your vin prolly starts with JHMBB_ whatever the blank is is what you have

as for the difference between the two, who gives a **** they're both 4th gens

 

i have a bb4 and the bb4 comes without:

4 wheel steering
airbag
passenger airbag
anti lock brakes
sunroof

bb1 stock weight 2870 lbs
bb4 stock weight 2705 lbs

 

My BB4 has sunroof and ABS.

 

hmm....
ive never seen a bb4 with sunroof before

 

I thought a BB4 was the JDM VTEC model. BB1 is the US.

Have I been wrong all this time?

same what i thought.

 

there were both JDM BB1 and BB4. One of them had Premium Sound System

Well there is no difference in the engine except bb4 is 2ws and bb1 is 4 ws that's it they are both jdm models. And manufactured in Japan only
