Does anyone know if a 5th gen Prelude dash can be thrown into a 4gen? Thanks

 

I am sure it would throw in very nicely behind the seats!

Might be a little cramped but with some manuvering...!!!

Anyways............ WHY!!!!

If you don't like it, like he said - buy a 5th gen.

The 4th gen dash isn't ugly in my opinion. Its different - who else has plexy glass covering their dash? I've seen some pictures of people who throw tvs behind it -makes it look nice and stealth. Who doesn't like digital? c'mon.

Incidentally, I own a 4th gen. And if you don't like the dash, well...you can swing from my short-ones.

 

I think if 4th Gen Dash is different. I didn't like a lot it at first, but it grew on me. I really like how everything is set back inside the dash where it can't be seen.

Also the EL Dash Gauges look A LOT better than the others.. I think..


Get someone to measure the length of the 5th Gen Dash & get the mesasurements for the 4th and see if it'll fit there that way first...

 

you have no sense of taste....find another car with a cooler dashboard....

in 1992 some people thought the prelude was going to launch into space with that dash....

 

If you see the concept drawings for the prelude, which I asume most of you have it's in the faq's, you can see why they designed the 4th gen dash like they did. It looks really cool in concept, but doesn't work as nicely in reality. It's grown on me though & I like it.

 

I like my dash also and for a 92 it was quite ahead of its time

 

I love my "star trek" dash.

personally i like my dash. i wasnt used to it at first being that my 4th gen is my first honda....but after awhile i grew to like it. easy as hell to remove too...when i do my custom painting. 6 bolts and 2 guide pins....it doenst get any easier than that!

 

I love my 4th gen dash why the hell would you want to get rid of it. It makes me feel like im in an airplane cockpit.

 

Agreed 4th Gen Dash rocks ---- there was a quote going round how "it takes womens clothes off" ,

i like the 4th gen dash, especially when you tint it different colors

Hell yeah....i have yet to see a car even remotely set up like the 4th gen dash!

i think its pretty cool cuz it lights up all the time
