Da Year... Da DiFF ?
ok then... here it goes:
im getting a 4th gen vtec lude and ive found a 93 vtec lude yet I hear the 94 is faster. I know what changes were made from 93 to 94, and car a driver says the 93 hit 15.4 stock while the 94 gets 15.1 stock. is 94 really faster than 93? if so, why?
facts taken from here: http://prelude.vtec.net/gen4/specs/testresults.html
thanks,

94s have leather and some extra luxuries. Just because car and driver got different numbers doesn't mean that one is faster than the other. track conditions and weather will both have a strong effect on the times.
1993 model year Prelude VTECs are generally regarded as the fastest model. They weighed a few lbs less than 94-96 due to cloth interior, no electroluminecient gauges, no center console, and supposedly different bumper supports. The 93 does have significantly heavier stock wheels than 94-96 had though. For some reason, from what I've seen, the 93's seem to dyno a bit higher in stock trim than later years too...
