whenever i turn my car on, the coolant temp stay below the lowest point for awhile (3-5 minutes) then it starts to go up. i was just wondering how long your coolant temp stays that low. also, how bad is it to drive while the coolant is that low?

 

i wouldn't drive my prelude if the coolent is low..

 

Yeah in cold weather it will take a while for the coolant temp to get to normal. I usually just let mine run in the morning for about 10 minutes before I'm ready to go.
