Default Control Links

I just had my front passenger ball joint replaced as I found out that there is a recall on that part for the 97 Prelude SH. I found this out as my car is very "clunky" when it is cold out in the front end of the car. I just got the car back and the noise it still there. It's like for every rotation of the wheels, there is a ticking or clunking noise only when driving in a straight line. Going over bumps obviously has the same affect. My axles are fine, its only when driving in a straight line. Could my Control Links be bad or something? If so, is that a hard task to replace them? Any suggestions would be awesome.
