Icon2 Compression rates

So I've been looking into the k24/k20 swap on my prelude, and I'm gonna do it. Slowly, over time, while I get the parts. But while I was looking up pistons, a question came across my mind.
If I want power, and I mean for this thing to ******* fly, and if I plan to slap a supercharger and a turbocharger in it, should I get 14.2:1 compression pistons? I know I'd have to use premium gas, but if I put the high compression pistons, what else would I have to do for it to handle a super/turbocharger both and still last? I don't wanna be all proud of my new-found swap, and then have it blow up because I used TOO MUCH while missing something. I may be able to fix my car, but the inside of an engine is still alien to me. Any info?

Basically, what would I need to replace to safely and reliably run a ridiculous amount of compression through my engine?

I think you should take a step or five back, slow down, and actually do some research. Set goals of what you want the car to do, and read how to make those happen.

Go through the hybrid forum, and read alot of posts and faqs, do the same thing in the forced induction forum etc.

Notice I say READ, don't ask questions and hope to be spoon fed, just read lots of posts and let the info sink in. if something doesn't make sense, search on that to get a better understanding. Once you think you have a good idea of what is going on, stop and read through it again, and see all the stuff you missed the first time. Then maybe put a plan together and ask specific questions.

Premium gas?? if you get piston that are 14.2:1 you will need more than premium, premium pump gas is only good for 12:1 compression, anything higher than that you will need either a JS Safegaurd or higher quality fuel.

Also, if you are going to run a turbo and/or supercharger then you wont want that high of comrpession(unless you have the JS ignition safegaurd w/ knock control (individual setup) and even then.

My thoughts exactly. When that point comes, make a thread.
