Default code 45 system too rich or lean

so i got this code out of my prelude and the symptoms are the following:
bogging at low rpm <2000
and some rare backfire at the same rpm

i already ran some injector cleaner through the gas with no changes... anyone else have any solutions?

Check ur spark plugs, they'll tell u if ur running rich or lean. Knowing if u're running rich or lean will help determine what to check for next.

they look pretty good dude, that doesn't seem to me to be the problem. slightly lean I would say

I would check to make sure the egr valve isn't stuck open by buildup and that the map sensor is soundly connected, not leaking, etc.

get a manual for your car, that should be the first step in solving any problem.

k well i cleaned out the EGR valve this morning and no change. the valve is working fine. so now im leaning towards getting all the ignition components changed (rotor cap and wires)

anyone else have anhy input?.

looks those plugs are rich in the lower rpms and getting leaner in VTEC

I never got a code but when I had my bogging issue it turned out that my cap and rotor had probably never been changed in the 95000 miles the previous owner had it and it all worn away changed that with plugs and wires for good measure and the car was a whole different car.

how does the power feel in the rest of the power band?
do you have any mods?

try and give a lot more info to narrow the problem.
