This is for a friend.
My friend has a 94 prelude Type S recently swapped in a h22a and he is getting code twelve wich is Exhaust Gas Recirculation. We have no idea where to locate this sensor. Anyone help?? THNX
BTW he is also throwing code 23 witch is the knock sensor but we know how to fix that.
That wouldnt cause code 12 to come out would it?? Can we use a B16/B18c knoc sensor on the h22?? Or are they different??

Its in between the IM and the valve cover near the throttle body. It doesn't look like a typical sensor click here for a pic:

take it off, clean it and the space below it with carb cleaner... install and reset ur ecu.

You might have to clean the egr ports if cleaning the valve doesn't work. I think the 95 and up manifolds came with plugs that can be removed with allen wrench, but older ones came with plugs that have to be drilled and replaced. They are located on top of the runners. http://autorepair.about.com/li...c.htm This link is for an accord but it is the same process.

They look like welds but they aren't. It is just solder like stuff. Follow the instructions in the link I posted above to clean the ports.
