Default Code 12 and code 22

Okay, I need to know WHERE my VTEC pressure valve is, and where my EGR valve is, those are the only two things keeping me in limp mode and it's driving me nuts...any assistance? Thanks

#12 is the VTEC solenoid, its located behind the rubber cap next to the distributor.

#19 is the EGR valve, it connects to the intake manifold
.
How can you tell if your car is in limp mode? And how do you get out of it? I heard the tranny can go into limp mode, is this true?

Limp mode is when your car will not activate VTEC for saftey reasons, when your soleniod and pressure sensor are out it will not go into VTEC because it doesn't know how much oil is there. Full limp mode will limit your car to 3000RPM and no higher, partial (which is what I'm in) will basically make your H22 act like an H23, only weaker. I think that's right. Also I think you have a different list for engine codes, maybe I'm all messed up, here's the codes I'm throwing:

12
21
22

If anyone knows them lemme know, I though it was

12: EGR
21: VTEC Soleniod
22: VTEC Pressure sensor

anyone?

Yeah but how would you get out of limp mode or safe mode? Do you reset the ECU? Ive had cels come on before and ive cleared them after fixing the problem. Would that put my car back in "battle mode" ?

I believe to get out of "limp mode" you reset your ECU, fix the problem and it should be okay, I'll tall you in a few when I find out, although I can't get my VTEC PRessure sensor nor my EGR sensor to work right, I think they might be messed up? I'll find out

nope, it's not oil, my problem is that my VTEC Pressure sensor isn't wired up right (I think?) It's good on oil, 4 quarts should be all it needs right? Because I change it every 2500-3000 miles, but I believe it's just because my VTEC Pressure sensor isn't wired right...anyone got pictures of where this sensor should wire into? I think it was supposed to be a light blue wire right? pictures?

Good, glad I'm not that dumb, haha. ANyway, got two to go away, fixed the probs w/the wiring, but I still don't know how to wire my VTEC Pressure sensor...if anyone has pictures/walk through or something, that would be awesome, but I'm totally lost here. Thanks.

anyone? I just need a picture of the VTEC Pressure sensor, of a 4th H22 or 5th it doesn't really matter, but I need to see what color the wires are etc. Please help as this is the ONLY thing keeping me in limp mode. Thanks.

Preludes need 5 quarts of oil for enough oil pressure and consumption.

Okay, I added another quart, still getting a code 22, but thanks samIam, I'll check it out and see if I can do that better. On the top circle is that where the blue/black wire is for the pressure switch? I think I've seen it, is it blue w/a black stripe or black w/a blue stripe?

edit: nm, I read I'll make sure I give it a shot, thanks for all the help everyone.
