Default clutch issues

So the past couple days wen my car is cold my clutch is really sponge like and jus today wen I got in my clutch asks as if it doesn't wanna engage and it sticks to the floor.....I'm hoping its my slave cylinder since it stuck to the floor. It wasn't gradual it kinda jus happened so I dnt think it'd b the clutch itself goin bad.

Any ideas????

Not quite sure what you're acting?

Is the pedal staying on the floor when you push it in but then returning really slowly? Likely your master cylinder. Check the slave out too. Could just need a good bleed but parts are cheap and worth replacing as if the cylinders do go out you'll be stranded wherever it happened.

i had the same issue and required for me to pump it to build pressure. I replaced my master and it was good to go. Also just make sure that when you bleed the system that you make sure your slave bleeder nut is tight

Crack the bleader and pump a couple times and dont forget to fill the resivour with fluid eventuly you will get pressure it take awhile after you replace the slave and/or master.

make sure all the lines are tight. Also make sure you bench bleeded the master cylinder and the slave cylinder also. Last thing make sure all lines are tight resiovur is full when bleeding. If it still not building pressure take some teflon tape and put it on the bleeder of the slave to make sure no air is getting in there at all.

What possible good can come from "bench bleeding" and open hydraulic circuit?

one you make sure that the part you bought is working properly and makes bleeding the system 1000x faster since you dont have to bleed fluid throught both parts instead just the lines

not really. It has to be really cold for it to come up slowly. Just make sure you might not have a kink or anything in the lines at all

I'd guess you still have air in there...
