Hey guys got a 97 base model and i just had the tranny fluid changed to syncromesh and now the clutch pedal wont stay up it just falls to the flood plenty of clutch fluid. any ideas?

 

air in the system... bleed it and it should pass.

 

Yeah, sounds like it wasn't bled properly.

 

The OP stated that replaced his tranny fluid. He said nothing about bleeding the clutch. But his issue does sound like air in the clutch lines.

 

That's weird how you changed the tranny fluid and now pedal doesn't have pressure. One thing that cause a pedal to drop like that would be air inside the system like others mentioned. I'd bleed it first to see if it'll fix the problem.

 

Well the shop noticed that a clutch line got a hole worn into it from being routed wrong. So its fixed again. But thanks for the replys
