cluster problems
hi, I have 91 honda prelude si with a problem.
and my friend said that I should ask honda tech.
the problem is that the gauges wont light up.
all the highbeam, low fuel, etc indicators work but the light wont turn on for the speedo, tach, and fuel.
would that mean that
those bulbs are out...or
a fuse is blown.
or something im not getting.
and I checked the fuses with a tester and they all worked. unless i did it wrong.
and I took the cluster out and checked the bulbs and they all seemed to be in good condition.
just wondering if i could get some help because the gauges are pitch black at night and I cant see anything

well what would be the problem in my case....
the fuses all work....the bulbs arent burned out
im not sure what a bad switch means and/or a bad relay.
the highbeam, ebrake, cel, low fuel, seatbelt they all work.
maybe i missed a bulb.

Switch = the thing that you use to turn **** on, just like a light switch in a house.
Relay = little electrical box thing, not a race
I don't believe all 3 gauges are lit by a single bulb, so chances of it being a bulb would be slim. You don't sound like you know electrical, so your best bet would be to take the car to an automotive electrician and let them figure it out. Should be pretty simple.
