Default climate control issue

since i can't search at the moment i guess i have to ask.
93 si
the fan only works on high. i just replaced the blower motor cause it was squeeling, and i thought that would take care of the other issue too. but it didn't. is there a relay or something that could be going out? or should i look at the cables in the control panel itself?

Chances are that the blower resistor is bad. It's screwed onto to the blower case and has a plug running into it.

most auto parts stores carry them, i know NAPA carries them, i'd try them before honda just because honda is gonna be pricey.

Ha... $41 - Wait until you see it! There are few other items on a car that are a bigger rip off than the blower resistor. (IMHO)

Is this easy to DIY for the 5th Gen? My fan only works on high too.
