I have a 5th gen and I just changed both my primary and secondary sensors with new denso ones and after driving for 30 miles I get CEL #67 (Oxygen Sensor Heater (Secondary) malfunctioning or defective oxygen sensor heater) .

I do not understand as to why I am getting this.

I changed the o2 sensors cause both of them were messed up.

Did you replace your O2 sensors with heated ones? If you didn't then they might not be getting hot enough to register a voltage and therefore your computer is reading a malfunction. I believe O2 sensors have to be at around 600 degrees to become a semiconductor and read the voltage, so if you are at idle the temp might fall below this number.

 

Ah, I bought the specific prelude o2 sensors so I am pretty sure they are heated one as you mentioned. I am gonna make sure everything is tight, but I am pretty sure that it already is.

 

try those spark plug foulers yet?
