i know it's the wrong place to ask this, but i can't get answers anywhere else. I lost teh cage to my cd player becaus ei dond't need it to install it in my previos car, where can I get another one?

theyre different for each brand....keep that in mind when buying....

 

just buy a new cd-player of the same brand as the one you have (so the cage is the same) take the cage and then return the cd-player. Just before you do this make sure the store has cash back refunds not store credit. Most places wont open the box, and if they do they wont notice the cage is missing.

Another option is to just try asking your local car audio dealers if they have extras. Ive gotten a free one from the installation guys at Circuit City before, all i did was ask

 

Oh, if you're needing the sleeve thing that goes around the cd player, I have some of those as well.

 

well i got a schosche (sp?) cd instalation kit because when I got the car the whole area was wide open with nothing there. the schosche kit sucks *** and I had to file the tabs on it off to make it fit... and it still doesn't clip in up top. I idon't know if any other brands would be any different, but this thing sucks ***.. waste of $12
