hey i swapped in a jdm h22 and just took my old cat from the h23a and welded on an extension and new bracket. I have emissions to pass so now i need to know if i shud buy a h22a cat or buy the h23a and just fabricate. I have stock h22a headers and stock h23a exhuast. Does anyone know if the stock h22a cat would fit?

 

Not sure about MD but here in cali to get your car to pass the BAR it has to have all the stock emmission gear from that engine/year to pass. I know they will do a visual check but not sure if they will check part #s, they also make you pass the sniffer test.

 

Md - all i have to do is pass a exhaust test where they test it for different levels of pollutants.
Anyone know answer to this?

Obviously i know i have to get a cat. I just was wondering if someone could save me the trip of getting underneath to measure by telling me which cat would work with stock h22a headers and stock si 4ws h23a exhuast.
