I locked my keys in the car the other day and had a security officer open the car with a slim jim. The door opened once but now will not open from the inside or the outside. I tried removing the handle but it seems to be disconnected at the latch. Are there any suggestions about how to open the door short from cutting the panel off or taking it to Honda (who wants $500 plus parts)?

 

why would you have to cut the panel off? just pull it off.
