Default Can i remove this??

I ment to post this before but i was wondering if i can remove this.



one vac line went to the iabs an the other just go to a vac source on the manifold. i kinda wanna just remove if its possible? i wanna get this **** done when i get back

Try disconnecting it and by-passing it. If you throw a code and go limp let up know.

im obd 1 now not 2. i dont think it will throw a code. im just wondering if maybe it has anything o do witgh the brakes so how. im just guess where these vac lines go. ones open an i think it went to the butter flies. just maken sure.

No I have that on my ODB1 prelude. It attaches to the shock tower along with another valve/sensor thing. I have never tried bypassing them though. And my car isn't running right now or I would give it a shot.

I think that's the thing that controls the EGR valve, not IAB's. If you still want your EGR system to operate then it needs to be hooked up to that. I'm assuming you don't care since it doesn't appear to have been hooked up anyways.

u know what..i think your right. its for the egr. good catch. since i convertied to obd1 usen a p28. i should be able to just remove the vac line? i t was hooked up by the way. i forgot i was messen with that also. lol.

You should bypass it and tell us if it throws a code. That's for the EGR vac controls to the lift valve. If it doesnt throw a code, you're cool.

I'm in the same situation as MadCityLude, my car isn't running so I can't try it for myself.

p28 doesnt have egr control.
