I have a '95 honda prelude SE mod with h22a engine. I would like to buy high performance cams, but I don't know if it's a good idea. if it is, which is the best to buy ????

Step 1 - click the big red Search at the top of the page
Step 2 - type in "camshaft"
Step 3 - select the Honda Prelude subforum
Step 4 - hit the search button
Step 5 - ???
Step 6- profit!

I would double check your engine before buying anything.
SE model Preludes came with the Sluggish H23A1 which is non-vtec.
Feeling nice today!
I like Skunk2's for H22A VTEC's and Crower makes some nice H23A nono vtec cams.

Well, he said he has an H22 in it.

Search for the Official Prelude camshaft thread.

No sense in running Jun or Skunk 2 pro series if you do not have at least 11.5:1 cr. If you are mostly stock, look into Prelude Type S cams.

You should choose your cam according to your build, goals, etc...

Kind of! There is no sense in running Jun cams with stock cr.

The Skunk2 Stage 1's work great with stock CR though.
