Default camber question.

three weeks ago i lower my lude with h&r race springs and kyb adjustable strut and install my rota battle 17" wheels with 205/40 tire. i waited 3 week to let the springs settle down before getting it align. this past Saturday i try to get it align but the machine show me that my camber setting are;

front left= -1.5* and front right= -2.4*(which got me worry)

rear left= -1.9* and rear right= -1.7*

i try to adjusted but i can,i need a camber kit ... i search around for a kit to go with Anchor Bolt made by Ingalls for the rear and i was thinking the same for the front but i have read to many different thing and my question is ;

can i install Anchor Bolt camber adjuster on the front of my 97 prelude? if not why ?

and yes i did search i found this which are great but did not answer my question completely

the fronts can only be ball joint replacements for the 5th gen prelude. the rear, anchor bolts are fine. with that drop, i am pretty sure that when you go with a camber kit up front, its going to have clearance issues with the ball joint hitting the top of the wheel well. myself, and many others have this issue. im not sure which kits dont have clearance issues with a race drop.

I had a very similar alignment reading to what you had. I am not familiar with Anchor Bolt, but what you want is something with 3 degrees adjustability that won't get out of whack every time you hit a pot hole. I got the Ingalls on the front, adjusted to 0 degrees, but after a few months of potholes, it needs alignment again. I wish they would make something solid enough for real world roads!

mine hasnt needed alignment yet, but yeah i wish they made a good camber kit for the prelude..something like the skunk2 full replacement for dc2s

hey man you should look into finding a place that does lifetime warranty. i paid $150 and i get lifetime alignments

a simple answer can be found:
http://www.ingallseng.com/cars/honda.html

you may have clearance issues though with the inner fender with anything tha tpushed the conrol arm outwards though.

i dont think thats the answer he was looking for
i beleive the bushing on the upper control arm for the 5th gen is different from the 4th gen
the 4th gen upper control arm ends "clamp" the bushing on 2 sides...
i cant explain how the 5th gen looks
heres a pic

cut a big hole on close to where your shocks bolt to under your hood...
the lump right next to it.
thats where it bottoms out.
careful tho coz it might reach your hood
