Default Caliper replacement / ebrake question

im replacing the driver side caliper on a 97 lude, there is a pin that holds the ebrake cable...its being a bitch - how do u guys take it out? also where the spring is (if spring removed) and the bolt thats there - theres a pin next to that bracket that is sorta holding it in place...does that just pull out or wat?

Find something slightly smaller than the pin and hit it with a hammer, or try and pry against the small ridge on the pin. Either way, it'll take a good 10 minutes to get out
