CAI Installation
I have just installed my CAI and there was a small hose going from the oem intake pipe to a metal sensor on the throttle body. What should be done with this hose, should it be left open or capped off? If it is left open should a filter be installed since it is sucking air.
Thanks.

OK... I got an h23... the one form the throttle body is blocked off... Theres one that goes to an actuator that should be running free though.... Its way right of the throttle itself... Theres no way to put a breather on that small of a hose anyways!
The one that attached on the OEM intake right by the throttle body should be left open - don't have to get a breather. The hose that went down to the resonator to open it up can be capped off at the IM. 1/8 inch cap works good, so does a golf tee in the hose

dont use breathers... if u make sharp left turns oil could possibly leak out... and u dont gain anything from it..

in all honesty if you look at it it would increase the air flow to clean out the blow-by. Maybe not the greatest idea for performance, but reliability? Might help
