A/C question
Hey guys,
Last september my A/C reciver broke. IT shot all my freon out, and still won't hold it. I was wonding if I can just replace the reciver and recharge the system and it will work again. I really don't want to remove it, but if it is gonna be like 500 to fix then I will take it out. Texas summers are hell with out A/C. I am gonna do all the work, so I don't have to worry about labor. I can get an AC rechage kit for about 30 bux, but it is as easy as adding freon once the system has a leak? I am not sure if it would be since air is now in the lines. If it isn't that easy does anyone know the belt to use once you have removed the AC?
THanks,
Josh
