How do I remove the c clip on the spring perch?

If I do remove it, can I reuse it? Im worried they will be weakened.....

CUrrently they are on the middle perch, and I want to use the lower perch...

You do not remove the C clips just to make an adjustment. Get some plyers and take one side of the C clip out of the groove and put it in the next lower or higher groove. Then take the other side of the C clip and move it to that same groove.

 

Yes you can reuse it, mine has been taken off twice before because the shop messed up the height... no problem so far...
