Alrighty. I've search all over the net for a used 1998 Prelude Passenger Headlight Assembly.
Question is. Is finding this going to be like panning for GOLD? Or do I just have to get one from a dealer. Which I'd rather not, But!
Just can't seem to find any for 97 - 01 anywhere. Even the two that just popped onto Ebay have broken top mounts. (I already have that) LOL

Any links to one would be highly appreciated.

I 'm having both headlights with broken top mounts, so what is the problem? It is hard to find because there is no aftermarket headlight for 5g, so no one swap out their stock.

 

Well mine don't just have a top mount broken now. The side mount was broken too but I was able to rig up that mount with some galvanized strapping and pop rivets. and at least now the light don't point to ground like it was. Also the back housing on mine is cracked up pretty good, almost all the way around the backside.
I just didn't think they'd be that hard to find and was mearly asking if anybody had any good links to some used parts that didn't require you to submit into for a quote.
I guess they just gave up making aftermarket parts after the g4's

One of mine cracked pretty bad too. I used plastic expoxy to put them back together. It is very good now. Even if you could find one, the price won't be cheap, it could be at least from $100 or more than that a piece used.

Well that just bites then. Glad to hear that you got it sealed back up. Does it condensate up or stay clear? I tried epoxy on a sealed headlight once before and it would condensate up after a carwash. I guess I didn't get it quite sealed or?

It seems that this could be a fairly common problem with these assembly's.
Yea, I read that from the dealer this assembly is $300.00+ and I actually spotted one on a site the first day I began looking on the web, it was like $225.00 (Used).

Sux for me, beings I'm in the middle of BFE. The closest dealer is about 80 miles away, sheesh. Least we don't have smog checks like I had to go through when I was living in Cali. That Sucked!!

Oh well, I'll just keep on looking. *Goes into Hound Dog mode*

I'll give the JB Weld a shot.....
Any Tips on preventing the inside from getting condensation in it? Should I pop or heat off the lens and reseal it and with what, JB Weld too?
