Brake problems (abs)
alright first off i have a 1994 si with abs and a have read up on this but the forum was really old and i go to tech school but i fugure some of you guys know more about hondas then some of my insturctors. ok so first off i bled my brakes yesterday and at first it worked great for about an hour and i decided to try and take this corner and a braked really hard and for a split second had brake pressure and then it went to the floor and i almost spun out at 60 but anyway i got home and noticed my abs resevior had no fluid in it and i know your not supposed to put fluid in and not bleed it but i had no choice. so today i drove to the gas station and it wasnt as bad so i tested it out doing some hard braking from 30-0 about twice and the brake light came on and so did the abs light. so i know maybe the dumbass that helped me probably forgot to tighten something up or maybe a blew i line out somewhere but i highly doubt i blew a line out because it has worked fine before yesterday and i doubt a couple hard stops with air in the lines would blow it out and i know my abs modulator is cooked. so my question to you guys is should i just take out the abs all together and i realize its not to hard but i really dont have cash for all non abs parts. and i was reading on the an old forum and this guy bought a new brake booster but that wouldnt have anything to do with abs thats just a vacuum booster nothing else and i know i might need a new master cylinder but couldnt i just match the old fitting up with the new one and not have to buy new lines which i also dont have money for. please give me some feedback
