5 mins ago i went out to goto the movies wit my car and when i release the brake the car won't roll and it makes this noise. im almost positive the caliper froze shut and is locking the tire. any advice on how to release the caliper so i can get to my mechanic?

I kicked mine...(the tire)... But that was when it was Frozen shut after what the Southerners call an "Ice Storm"... And it was on my StepDad's old '97 Bonneville that I drove while my Lude was down..

Look and see if it's the Caliper stuck, or if your E-Brake is holding it shut... Also which Brake is it?

 

the next day it was fine. so now ill just have to wait for it to happen again. thanx for the help
