I have a 5th gen lude, that has a brake light which has a habit of coming on an off sometimes. It only seems to come on when i first start the car, but when i release the brake, the light stays on. It will then go off for a few mins, and then come back on if i hit the brakes. After a while it stops. what gives?

check your third brake light. you could have a bulb burning out

 

Also check your brake fluid level is on the max line level in the reservoir, low level can cause this problem.
