When im at a stoplight my car normally idles at around 1000 but lately it has been dropping down past 500, when it does that if feels like when you let off the clutch to soon and it bogs down, but after it does that it bounces up sometimes to 1500, its making me a little nervous, I have replaced my distributor twice due, I guess my stereo. Any ideas?

 

What made you replace the dizzy twice. It sounds like an idle serge to me.

You MAY want to check your ignition switch or look through this prelude thread with similar problems with this issue. My car started doing that and eventually stopped working. I changed a switch behind the ignition and I haven't had anymore issues.
