Bouncing Idle at cold start.
1997 Honda Prelude Base Model
Hi. If anyone could help me out it would be great. I have brought the car to a shop twice now and both times they charged me for 2 hours and never fixed the problem. When the engine is cold (morning start up) the idle will bounce around between 1k-3k rpm. As soon as the car warms up to normal operating temperature the idle will drop down to around 650rpm. After it i drive for a while and say come to a stop light the idle will fall to around 250 rpm. If anyone knows what this is or even has suggestions please post. And if this topic has been posted already (i have searched and not found anything) dont snap.
