Are the h23a and h22(vtech) block exactly identical or not, same casting or not?

 

it's 'vtec'. And the blocks aren't identical.

 

The bare blocks are identical. They both have FRM sleeves also. The difference is everything else, clrank, rods, pistons, everything that touches the timing belt, and the h22 has an auto tensioner.

But if your talking about the bare blocks, they are identical.

 

yeah just the bare block (same casting), just thinkin of puttin a h22 head on my h23...
