alright my car has been acting weird lately. if im at idle and i give it full throttle, it will seem like its misfiring or even detonating. it takes a while to catch spark and then it catches it up top and seems normal.

as of right now i have an exhaust leak at the manifold from the gasket. im gonna change that, and plugs today.

also it seems like when it is high up it still pulls really hard... this is a jdm h22a in an accord with hondata s200

What kind of ignition and ignition wires do you have? What is the timing set to? Any codes? What maps are you running? Were they tuned for your car? What changed between now and when it worked before (if it did)?

 

hey u still got that turbo 4 sale? would it fit in my 97 prelude?

 

that sounds like ur timing is way to advanced so that could be why its barely running at low rpm and why its pulling great up top. also i would check your cams too and make sure theyre in time just to be sure, might be a tooth off on the gears or something.

 

yep thanks guys but i ripped the valve cover off and noticed that the intake cam was off a few teeth

its just a turbo, as the pics show. and you need some more stuff then just that but with a manifold it will fit on your car
