the chassis# bb8 didnt know if it was a typo or japan still makes preludes?

 

for sure they are not making Preludes after 2001. For example, the 4th generation Preludes in the US have BA8, BB1, and BB2 chassis. JDM Preludes have BA8, BA9, BB1, and BB4. So I believe that it's just another version in Japan

 

The sale ad says that the car is a 1997. The year 2001 was the last year for preludes.

Looks like the BB8 is for the 8" wing on the trunk.

 

I would buy it for $3k!
