Icon6 BB4 dash and brake light problem

Hey guys, first post, but I've lurked this forum for some time. Anyway I was looking for a little help because my friends BB3 Prelude si is having some electrical problems that have me stumped.

Anywho, it started a few weeks ago when my friend went to go turn his headlights on, and his dash lights stayed off, we come to find out later the rear nighttime running lights weren't working either. For the next few weeks the aforementioned lights would work intermittently. I know the bulbs are fine, I've already checked both the dimmer relay and the headlight switch; both of those are fine.

SO, any ideas? I've had one guy tell me it might be a ground. If so which one? Where?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Had the same problem. Had an exposed wire that would bounce on and off of ground so it would short intermittently and work intermittently. Find the short in the circuit.

Sounds like your Main Relay is crapping out. I had the same problem before. Pretty easy/ cheap fix.
