Hey

Been having issues with the 4ws for a fair while, would normally get code 71 if I recall correctly (a temporary driving condition: driver driving aggressively with 3 passengers in the car). I assumed it was purely just because of how I drive (I live in Vtec.lol). But more recently 4ws has been pulling out some weird stunts. Would be driving in a straight line then the rear end flicks in a direction (the wheels flick), counter for it and the car is fine again. Now it's seriously "sticking" and the 4WS unit makes noises when the steering wheel is turned. 4WS is still working so I assume all the sensors are ok but the unit is trying to work and ends up sticking, so the front wheels would be turned hard right and the 4WS wouldn't happen till it un-sticks and then the wheels flick in that direction. Could get some serious sideways action....

Haven't been able to find anything to explain it or even anything to check. I checked the tie rods and external components but all looks fine. Can't find anything to grease in the service manual so its either mechanical or electrical. System still works, still have 4WS but with an occasional kick. Any one have any ideas as to whats up?
