Probably about 16-18 feet depending on where you want it mounted in the trunk. Just buy 20 to be safe.

Word, actually a good way to go is to buy jumper cables. They are less than half the price of buying the wire alone from a store and they are the same gauge and work just as well if not better. The entire amount of wire I needed ended up costing me about $15.00american dollars. GOod luck!

Under the carpet... I was lazy and ran mine through the hole that was left over from the cruise control cable, but the rubber boot on the passenger size under the fuze box is also a good one.

I ran the cable through the fender and then through a hole in the firewall that pops out near the ecu and then ran it under the carpeting...

thanks for all the replies.. i got myself about 19 feet of cables.. expensive in london but still better than buying those kits..

I've also heard of people using an 150amp fuse and also a power distributer.. are these both necessary??

Thanks again!

Nope, you don't need either of those. You'll be fine just running your positives and ground. Good luck!!!

ok so i got my wires and everything but i'm not sure how to hook it up..

I'm stuck on how to connect the starter and fuse box to the positive wire to the back..

I ran the wire under the carpet and through the firewall already..

Do i just separate the 2 wires ( one from the fuse and one from the starter) connect these together and then connect them with the positive wire? if so how do i go about doing this?

Thanks for the help!

you defiantly need a fuse. 150amp is a good idea. The reason for the fuse is to protect your car and yourself in the case of an accident. If you get into a wreck you run the posability of pinching your power wire. When this happens the battery will see full ground allowing max current to flow. With nothing to stop it your battery, wire, and connectors will heat up causing a fire. Your fuse should be no more than 18in away from the battery.

Just my 2 cents.

Good luck.
