I would go with as nice coilover setup before anything. Either Ground Control/Koni or Tein Super Streets. Like you I had money given to me after graduation. I used some of that money and money from working(summers only) to buy an AEM intake/GReddy exhaust. It was good but if i had had the chance to do it over I would've went with suspension.

IMO, suspension will give you the most bang for your buck If you're looking at straight line speed there are more important places to concentrate, but if you're looking to make your car a LOT more fun to drive, as well as improving the aesthetics, you really need to consider suspension. Koni/GC is the best shock and sleeve combo out there.
Good luck with your build

I would go the route your going, I/H/E, I would suggest a camp1320 header however instead of a megan. A little more expensive but should perform a decent amount better. If your worried about paint and your hood I would suggest a ebay CF OEM hood. I bought one and the fitment was near perfect and looked really good. Also maybe pullies like you said if you still have the cash.

i got a hyper style (i think its hyper) for 100 bucks plus paint and installation (230) for me. 500-600 just for the 2.5" lip is retarded. may as well get a whole front fender

tints are coming when i get back from vacation, then I'll most likely pick up a nice suspension combo (can anyone give some recommendations as to what they have? i know koni/GC are very popular, i was thinking maybe kyb agx and tein s.tech or neuspeed sport?)</TD></TR></TABLE>

Can't wait. I want to see the Ti C on a Lude.

buy a couple AC hookers, and
with the remaining $1450 buy a SMS header

then realize how much more expensive h series stuff is compared to B series
you'll have fun tho
