Default Based on this dyno plot what vafc2 settings?

Hi

Had a dyno done a while ago on my 95 VTEC and the afr graph looks weak to me. I thought around 13->13.5 was where the power is. Take a look at the graph and tell me what settings you would try? My bro-in-law dynoed his 95 VTEC and got the same afr pattern. The cars are both stock motors with K&N panel and Janspeed cat-back.

I have left the stock vtec point (5k) and wanted to get the fueling better...

No. I had the dyno run done before the vafc2 was fitted. These are two runs performed after reseting my ignition timing back to stock. I had it advanced 2 deg to try gain somthing from the 98 octane fuel we get here in the UK. The red line with the better torque and afr is the run after the timing was set back at the distributor.

you cant really add any fuel with a Vafc, pretty much all you can do is take fuel out.

umm shouldn't you have posted the a/f ratio instead of dyno plots? its much easier to tune knowing your a/f ratio at rpms instead of how much hp you are putting down

or at least thats how i tuned my car: wideband + laptop + vafc is your friend

If you look, the 2nd graph is my afr plot. 1st sheet is power/torque and 2nd sheet is torque/afr...

Approximate from graph...
3.0k-->14.25
3.5k-->13.5
4.0k-->14
4.5k-->14.25
5.0k-->14
5.5k-->14.5
6.0k-->14.5
6.5k-->14
7.0k-->13

It appears to be weak from 4k-6.5k to me, I just don't know how much % to add on the vafc2?

i would say those are pretty good numbers

i tuned mine for a a/f ratio of about 13.5 - 14 so you are good unless you want more
