Only disadvantage to the SH is you can't turbo it. The ATTS can't handle more then 250 hp

I would trade your Auto in for an SH since it's already a 5spd

Screw the ATTS and let it get disabled or get a tranny with an LSD and you will be better off. Either way if you turbo I believe your car will still work fine....just no traction control.

^ ATTS isn't traction control.

If you want turbo, get a 5spd base. That way you've got your 5spd and you can turbo it easier, without the added weight of a dead ATTS system.

Get an SH if you want handling from the factory. I'm really happy with mine; handles great on Tein SS coilovers.

or you could search... this has been argued plenty. However, if you are going turbo, yes do a base, but the SH does excel on a roadcourse. as said ATTS is not traction control, it simply controls the speed of the driver's side wheel to turn faster or slower around a turn and make it handle more like a rwd car.

I have a 98 SH and I love it! The handling is just unbelievable, no understeer at all, throttling in and out of corners. I say go for it.

you say it can't handle 250 HP and up. is that 250 from the crank, or 250 that you would see at the wheels?

around the 240-250whp. If you want to go really fast in a straight line don't get the SH.
