Default BAD FUEL PUMP???

i tried searching, but cant seem to find a definite question to my answer. well, recently when I try to start it, it starts but dies out. I have to give the puppy some gas by stepping on the pedal a few times to keep it going. But after it idles for a while, the car will run perfectly. Can this be a sign of a bad fuel pump? I changed the relay already and changed the fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, etc... and I cant seem to find the problem. thanks for the help.

could be, but why don't you check the fuel pressure when it's doing that....can you hear it kick on.....not too bad to put the walbro pump in...you could do it in your driveway in an hour if you're halfway knowledgeable
