"rare" kinda turned my tummy..... they make the car sound so good, then in the item description they tell you that nothing works......they tranny's shot, its been wrecked......
It's true. it is one of 3 working B16 swaps in the world. One is in S.C. (his), another is in Australia and the other is Washington state. It's a friends car. He has a web site of the build up online somewhere. Trannys fine but it has been in a lil bit of a wreck it's all been fixed though. I'm the formost expert on this body style and taught him almost every thing he knows.you can see my cars on the webpage as well!

*yawn* No offense buddy, it is a 2nd gen Prelude. I guess I am the "formost [sic] expert" on 3rd gen Preludes with Koni yellow shocks and fiberglass sub enclosures. No one cares. It is in the end an old Prelude. Sorry to burst the bubble.

Ok. I am an ******* and I apologize and will eat crow now. I did not know who you were Chris and you know that I think you are a great guy. But the point still stands. No one should say "I am the foremost authority on this". It sounds cocky and it generally is not true. Did you know that King Motorsports used to race 2nd gen Preludes soon after they came out? It is true. Think they might know a bit about them? I know for a fact there are more 2nd gen B16 Preludes than the ones you named. Hell, I helped point some of the people wanting to build them to the guy in Australia who I "think" was the first guy. But I am not special. I am not special for once running some dead Prelude site, I am not special for having once run Honda Challenge or most any other thing I have ever done in life and I don't claim to be.
Anyhow, I am learning more and more that I should just keep quiet. If you have lost respect for me than that is too bad. I do sincerely apologize for any hurts feelings but the point still stands.

Yes king did race a prelude In the RS or radial sedan series from IMSA but only one car for 2yrs and it was replced by the integra which was much better made for the race. That car and all the spares where sold to a race team in south america. The #8 car had a custom geared 5 speed tranny and being that it was an 1984 DX it had a CVCC head so was down on power except for the 2x Weber 45 DCOE carbs and a custom in-house ex mani. the only Mugen part it did have was the CF-48 racing wheels. I have not lost respect for you Chris but I think I do know my stuff about these cars.
