Default axle question & FITV

My left front axle is broken. I didn't know it was broken, but I believe I've driven like that for a long time, for months.
Is it something that needs to be replaced right away? I don't know the difference.

This may sound like a dumb question, but would civic's FITV fit 92 prelude si?

If you can do it as soon as possible , eventually it will really break and snap. I have the same problem boots been ripped for 4 months it shakes on the highway not a good thing.

I would change is ASAP. If it breaks/seizes, you will not be able to drive the car.

You will have to get one for a Prelude. Civic axles will not work.
