autometer need help

autometer need help

on the electric water temp sender unit, should the wire be touching the rubber part of the sensor? mine doesnt read anything and im almost pos everything else is hooked up correctly

I don't rremember any rubber on the sending unit. Mine was just a brass piece with a plastic connector on it.
