automatic throttle body different?
I was calling around today on prices for all the parts I need to swap my auto for a manual. I called Haprecycling. The guy said its way expensive, like $2500+ expensive and Id need to change the ecu, the harness, etc. But he said I needed to change the throttle body. Now, Ive been researching the swap for a while. I know I dont "need" to change the harness, and I can change the auto ecu over to a manual one pretty easily. I didnt know about the throttle body differences so I went to slhondaparts.com and checked the part numbers again to see, and auto and manual are different. Does anyone know exactly what's different? Is it the size? the auto one choked down to protect the fragile and dookie autotranny? if anyone knows, hook me up! thanks

As far as I know, the only difference is the "wheel" (name?) to where the throttle cable hooks to, because that's also where you hook that cable that's coming from the tranny. That's there for the tranny, not the throttle body, so you should be ok in using the throttle body from your auto. You just won't have a cable coming from the tranny to hook to it.
Don't worry, if I'm wrong the next 5 people will say so.....
good luck
