Hey me and some buddies are looking into doing autocross and have been wanting to so badly for some time. I was just wondering if there are anybody that races on here that wouldn't mind showin me the ropes next time they go out so I can see what I need, how to join, and in what parts are needed or better yet not needed. Also can one use a light weight flywheel or is that non-reglulation?

 

solo autocross or club?

 

Solo autocross I am thinking of going this weekend to the california speedway this weekend.

 

well for solo u pretty much can use whatever you want..it all depends on which class you are put in..theres stock class all the way up to full race..i have a moderatly upgraded lude and im still running modified stock..your gonna love it, have a good time. dont be afraid to ask questions, and also have an instructor ride with you! they help a lot if your new to the sport.

 

Is it possible to just go and watch the first time and if so what is the spectator fee?

 

depending on what club ur going with, its usually about 10-15...not too bad
