ATTS problems?
I have a newly purchased used 5th gen '97 w/91k. My ATTS light comes on very intermitently and when it does, stays on for the duration of the drive. The car is under warranty but it does not cover the ATTS, only the engine and trans. (powertrain). And this is solely the ATTs light, not combined with the cel. I already pulled the engine diagnostic codes, but through some research have found that there are seperate atts codes, is this a dealer only thing? Also i know they recommend changing the fluid at 90k, I also know the system is very sensitive, would old fluid trigger the indicator light to go on???
sorry, i misworded that sentence. I did not have any engine diagnostic codes and I do not know how to pull the ATTS codes, thats why I asked if that was a dealer only thing?
I originally took it to autozone bc they pull your codes for free, nothing came up then, but I was not aware of the flashing, would that appear on that diagnostic system?
