heres the problem tonight i started my 98 prelude sh and 10 seconds later the ATTS light comes on and stays on so i pulled into market parking lot and i turn off the car and turn it on and the ATTS light didnt stay on. why did that happend is it cuz i didnt warm up the car first?????

 

it could be anything, but usually it's your gas cap or your suspension.

did you get a CEL too? if not you might have a real problem.

try re-screwing your gas cap, make sure you hear 3 clicks.

reset your ecu and see if you still get the ATTS light.

also, what have you done to your suspension?

 

if you didn't already, try searching under archives under "ATTS".

did you reset your ecu? if the light doesn't come back on it's fine.

the ATTS sensors are sensitive, anything can cause the ATTS light to come on.

you only have a problem when the ATTS light comes on and doesn't go off. thats what it stated in the manual.

 

i dont know what a CEL is. today i drove it alot today and the light didnt come on at all

 

CEL = Check Engine Light

 

nah the check engine light didnt come on at all. it seems fine now thanks for the info sticky i think the atts light came on cuz i didnt warm up the car
