i have an 01 sh and today i got a flat so i put on the oem spare now everytime i go for a drive my atts light comes on after about 10 minutes....so does n e one kno if its because of the spare being on or what...?

 

I've read a few different threads on here about this and from what I gather ATTS and CEL come on at the same time weather the problem stems from the CEL or ATTS light. In your case I think it's the fact that you're using the temp tire. On one post I read the light went off cuz a nail was stuck in one of the front tires. Once you get a replacement tire you should be fine. If that don't help go to Autozone and they'll pull the code and tell you exactly what it is for free. Hope this helps you out ATTS used to gimme a lot of headaches to.

 

Yes. A different diameter tire will cause a DTC 72 code. Should fix itself once you replace your tire.

 

The manual says that if the front tire is punctured, to move the rear tire to it's location, and use the spare in the rear.

Yes, it's def due to the spare; I've had this happen a couple times (darn low profile tires). The outside diameter is different on the spare, so the ATTS knows it can't work right because the handling on the car is different and could behave unexpectedly. Wish Honda would have thought about putting in a full size spare

 

i had the same problem, disconnect the bat and reconnect, fixed my 99 type s.
and you will most prob have to do it again when you get your replacement tire.
